This dip is the perfect accompaniment to practically anything. I came up with the recipe initially because I (not so successfully) attempted to make bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. After looking on the internet for a while I couldn’t seem to find a recipe for a dipping sauce that I found appealing to accompany my less than spectacular poppers. Taking matters into my own hands I managed to mix up something that I absolutely fell in love with. The best part is it only has 5 ingredients – most of, if not all, you probably have in your kitchen right now already. A little spicy, a little sweet, with hints of both barbecue sauce and ketchup, this dip is perfect to put out with fresh veggies, potato chips, or as a replacement for mayo on a sandwich.
“Put that S*** on Everything” Dip
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (this can be adjusted based on personal preference)
- 1/3 cup sour cream
Put everything in a dish and stir it up. Then dip, dunk, and spread that s*** on everything!
